A wasted opportunity for Apiacás Esporte Clube. 8 minutes into the match, Gláuber de Carvalho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Apiacás Esporte Clube's Serginho Bittencourt. Serginho Bittencourt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Serginho Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber de Carvalho in the 14th minute of play. Serginho Bittencourt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gláuber de Carvalho went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Nelsinho Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enéas Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Peres in the 24th minute of play. Reynaldo Domingues scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enéas Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st match minute, Apiacás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Grêmio Osasco Audax's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Domingues came free, but Enéas Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Domingues in the 39th minute of the match. Apiacás Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jardel Veiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gláuber de Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Apiacás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Peres. Serginho Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gláuber de Carvalho in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Bittencourt saved Apiacás Esporte Clube from getting behind. Apiacás Esporte Clube's Nelsinho Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jardel Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jardel Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Grêmio Osasco Audax:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Apiacás Esporte Clube:s goal. In the 73rd minute, Reynaldo Domingues made a precise shot to the right of Enéas Torres. Grêmio Osasco Audax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The supporters of Apiacás Esporte Clube booed when Grêmio Osasco Audax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Caetano Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Torres having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enéas Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reynaldo Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Enéas Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Caetano Britto came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Apiacás Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Britto couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Cardozo during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Apiacás Esporte Clube were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
