After having played for 7 minutes, Sebastião Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Conapool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Mandrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Váldson Munhoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Internacional Aru's Baltazar Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Mandrak in the 18th minute of play. Rui da Rocha's late challenge caught a Internacional Aru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui da Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, SC Conapool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Figueiredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Motta having to make a save. Sebastião Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Brasil having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Sebastião Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Cauan Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internacional Aru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauan Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Internacional Aru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Sebastião Mandrak scored to the left of an out of position Baltazar Brasil, making the score, 1-1. Rui da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Sebastião Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Conapool's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltazar Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Douglas Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Baltazar Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastião Mandrak to make the kick off. Internacional Aru's Beto Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Internacional Aru's Beto Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Motta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, SC Conapool's Luiz Motta got control of the ball when Cauan Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 76th minute of the match Rui da Rocha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rui da Rocha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 77 played minutes SC Conapool got a freekick which was hit by Rui da Rocha. 78 minutes in the game, Cauan Figueiredo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Cauan Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Mandrak hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Douglas Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Baltazar Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
