The referee showed Cauã Vinhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cauã Vinhas hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Roger Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in PALHAÇADA FC's zone, Roger Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto Brito came out of the goal and Roger Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Luiz Eduardo Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guto Brito was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Rubinho Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guto Brito saved PALHAÇADA FC from getting behind. Roger Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Brito having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guto Brito. PALHAÇADA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Eduardo Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 46th minute, Sérgio Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Cristóvão Marquez in the 47th minute really tested Décio Barbosa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Eduardo Netto was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Eduardo Netto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Guto Brito made a huge save. After 53 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Netto. Lúcio Arce hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Custódio in the 58th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Luiz Eduardo Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PALHAÇADA FC's Guto Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to PALHAÇADA FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Pedro Barros hit a great ball. Luiz Eduardo Netto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Guto Brito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cauã Vinhas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Luiz Eduardo Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisinho Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisinho Fontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind PALHAÇADA FC's goalkeeper Guto Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Netto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Décio Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roger Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guto Brito having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 86th minute of play forced PALHAÇADA FC's goalkeeper Guto Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 88 in the game by Luiz Eduardo Netto from a close distance when the talented Guto Brito managed to make a qualified save. PALHAÇADA FC's players were relieved. A hard shot by Bernardinho Peixoto from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Guto Brito's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Microsoft Team's Bernardinho Peixoto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Guto Brito but with some difficulty. Pedro Barros's late challenge caught a Microsoft Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Barros helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Microsoft Team booed when PALHAÇADA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball.
