In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Clemente Baiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's zone, Sidney Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Baiano came out of the goal and Sidney Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, João Augusto Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's Jardel Cosme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henry Van Herendael. Henry Van Herendael yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Clemente Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Jacinto in the 16th minute of the match. Sidney Pimenta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Baiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Sidney Pimenta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BRC WeeD Dogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 20 minutes into the match, Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Jacinto came free, but Clemente Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sidney Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot. BRC WeeD Dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Pimenta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Baiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's Jardel Cosme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Van Herendael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henry Van Herendael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Cosme in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jardel Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 32nd minute Sidney Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, BRC WeeD Dogs's Bebeto Jacinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Baiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Clemente Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Pimenta in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Sidney Pimenta made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Baiano. Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After some careless play in the Rufa City FC - FSCMZ defense, Sidney Pimenta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Baiano. The Rufa City FC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Baiano should have stopped the shot. After the first half BRC WeeD Dogs were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bebeto Jacinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Bebeto Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of BRC WeeD Dogs booed when Rufa City FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Baiano came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by BRC WeeD Dogs's Bebeto Jacinto. But to his dismay, Bebeto Jacinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's Waldir Cabral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Timeteo Cedofeita in the 62 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Pimenta got free with Clemente Baiano in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jardel Cosme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Van Herendael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as BRC WeeD Dogs's Sidney Pimenta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clemente Baiano. That made the score 2-7 after 72 minutes of play. Sidney Pimenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Clemente Baiano made a huge save. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. João Augusto Rocha was slow to take the kick. During this time BRC WeeD Dogs's players had a chance to rest. Paulinho Ferreira made a great header on BRC WeeD Dogs's corner, it was just that Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's Clemente Baiano managed to reach the ball for a save. Sidney Pimenta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Baiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Henry Van Herendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Cosme in the 80th minute of the match. Sidney Pimenta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Clemente Baiano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nelsinho Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sidney Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sidney Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. BRC WeeD Dogs's Eduardo Beltrami suffered a fractured collar bone after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Waldir Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's protests and gave Waldir Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. 92 minutes into the game, one of Rufa City FC - FSCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Clemente Baiano had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Bebeto Jacinto's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 96th match minute, Rufa City FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Cosme to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over BRC WeeD Dogs could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rufa City FC - FSCMZ throughout the match.
