Yusuf Tokuş ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15thth minute of the game Wilian Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Alpha F. C.'s goalkeeper Valério de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto Barros. If Yusuf Tokuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dráuzio Pinheiro made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Carlos Alberto Barros however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in Oiticica FC's zone, Yusuf Tokuş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquinhos Sena came out of the goal and Yusuf Tokuş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros got control of the ball when Carlos Alberto Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valério de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Bastos during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Alpha F. In the 59th minute, Carlos Alberto Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valério de Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Marquinhos Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Tokuş in the 63rd minute of the match. Marquinhos Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Tokuş, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Marquinhos Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valério de Medeiros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
