The supporters of Macanare FC booed when Vasco Ji-Paraná FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juninho Prata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomé de Souza went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lino Matorin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernani Amaral in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Gabriel Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Tomé de Souza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Juninho Prata. Juninho Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 24 minutes of play, Macanare FC's Tomé de Souza made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juninho Prata was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juninho Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hudson Queiroz in the 30th minute of play. Juninho Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernani Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Matorin having to interfere. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Juninho Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson Queiroz in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Lima in the 39th minute of play forced Macanare FC's goalkeeper Lino Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Juninho Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé de Souza in the 44th minute of play. Lino Matorin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Artur Moreira. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Juninho Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Vasco Ji-Paraná FC from getting a goal against them. Hudson Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Juninho Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juninho Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomé de Souza in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Gabriel Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lino Matorin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Macanare FC's Pedro Luís Andrade got a free kick in the 70th minute. The Macanare FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Macanare FC's Tomé de Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Artur Moreira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lino Matorin. Macanare FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Gabriel Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macanare FC's Lino Matorin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gabriel Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celsinho de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Matorin having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Pedro Luís Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Macanare FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
