After 10 played minutes Turkos do RJ got a freekick which was hit by Natã Baptista. Dé Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Queirós in the 13th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Celsinho de Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dé Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernani Amaral in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dé Almeida saved Turkos do RJ from getting behind. After 26 minutes of play, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Gabriel Queirós made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dé Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Vasco Ji-Paraná FC booed when Turkos do RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Ernani Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 68 minutes into the match, Turkos do RJ's goalkeeper Dé Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernani Amaral. If Paulo Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gabriel Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Vasco Ji-Paraná FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Queirós couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Queirós in the 88th minute of play forced Turkos do RJ's goalkeeper Dé Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Queiróss short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Dé Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 93 minutes into the match, Turkos do RJ's goalkeeper Dé Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Queirós. Celsinho de Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dé Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
