Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilian Moraes kicked off to start the match. Marquinhos Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Neiva in the 11th minute of the match. Oiticica FC's Wilian Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilian Moraes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Dé Almeida skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 19th minute Wilian Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Jaime Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilian Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Wilian Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Oiticica FC defense, Edmundo de Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marquinhos Sena. The Oiticica FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marquinhos Sena should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesinha Meira during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Oiticica FC booed when Turkos do RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Neiva was the one to do the kick off. Dé Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Turkos do RJ's zone, Dráuzio Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dé Almeida came out of the goal and Dráuzio Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dráuzio Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Moraes in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dé Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 minutes, Wilian Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oiticica FC and the Turkos do RJ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Alberto Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugênio do Valle during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Turkos do RJ booed when Oiticica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Oiticica FC's Dráuzio Pinheiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dé Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Carlos Alberto Barros fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oiticica FC's protests and gave Carlos Alberto Barros a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marquinhos Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
