C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Tokuş to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Augusto Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dark Dragons's zone, Yusuf Tokuş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Pires came out of the goal and Yusuf Tokuş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Dark Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Tokuş came free, but Felipe Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Braga in the 27th minute of play forced Dark Dragons's goalkeeper Felipe Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Alpha F. C. booed when Dark Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Rodriguinho Valadares in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alpha F. C.'s Tales Seco. Dark Dragons's Felipe Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Tokuş in the 41st minute of play. Felipe Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yusuf Tokuş went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 46 minutes, Yusuf Tokuş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpha F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Yusuf Tokuş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Yusuf Tokuş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Paulo Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. Yusuf Tokuş might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Pires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yusuf Tokuş ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Dark Dragons's zone, Pedro Augusto Prata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. C. got a freekick which was hit by Yusuf Tokuş. After 62 played minutes Dark Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Peres. Per Gunnarsson scored 0-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the game, Yusuf Tokuş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alpha F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark Dragons the free kick. When José Paulo Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Dark Dragons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Paulo Fernandes couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes, Vágner Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpha F. C. and the Dark Dragons players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Alpha F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Rosado. Pedro Augusto Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yusuf Tokuş succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 77th playminute. Alpha F. C. made a substitution. Raimundo Paiva replaced Vágner Rosado. Alpha F. C.'s Wágner Messias was substituted for Per Gunnarsson. Pedro Augusto Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Oscar Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpha F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Augusto Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Felipe Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Oscar Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Dark Dragons fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alpha F. C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
