A wasted opportunity for Vasco Ji-Paraná FC. After a rather tough play, Oiticica FC's Mané Prata got a free kick in the 12th minute. Gabriel Queirós in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marquinhos Sena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Artur Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Wilian Moraes scored 1-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juninho Prata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Queirós who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Marquinhos Sena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Celsinho de Moraes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Vasco Ji-Paraná FC defense, Wilian Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Prata. The Vasco Ji-Paraná FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Prata should have stopped the shot. Carlos Alberto Barros took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juninho Prata. Juninho Prata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Queirós to make the kick off. Ernani Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marquinhos Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernani Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Vasco Ji-Paraná FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Artur Moreira hit a great ball. Gabriel Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marquinhos Sena having to make a save. Marquinhos Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62ndth minute of the game Gabriel Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oiticica FC's Marquinhos Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 minutes, Ricardinho Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oiticica FC and the Vasco Ji-Paraná FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chants of Oiticica FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Vasco Ji-Paraná FC had held the ball for most of the match.
