The goal made the score 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Eunapolitano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Queiroz came free, but Marcelinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eunapolitano FC's Marcelinho Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Eunapolitano FC from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute Almir Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Hudson Queiroz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelinho Leite. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

If Almir Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hudson Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hudson Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hudson Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Eurico Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lino Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Matorin having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Macanare FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eunapolitano FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
