The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Per Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Paulinho Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulinho Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BRC WeeD Dogs's Paulinho Ferreira got a free kick in the 6th minute. Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Alpha F. C. from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as BRC WeeD Dogs's Sidney Pimenta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valério de Medeiros. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Valério de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Jacinto in the 19th minute of the match. Valério de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Sidney Pimenta sent off a good shot on target. Bebeto Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Valério de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Sidney Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of BRC WeeD Dogs booed when Alpha F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bebeto Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the BRC WeeD Dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bebeto Jacinto couldn't finish the play. If Bebeto Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Jacinto in the 47th minute of play forced Alpha F. C.'s goalkeeper Valério de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

54 minutes into the game, Sidney Pimenta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Valério de Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valério de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Pimenta in the 58th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Alpha F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Pimenta came free, but Valério de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulinho Ferreira got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Paulinho Ferreira hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 85thth minute of the game Bebeto Jacinto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BRC WeeD Dogs made a substitution. Eduardo Beltrami replaced Sidney Pimenta. Kees Kluivert made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by João Augusto Rocha. After a rather tough play, Alpha F. C.'s Eliézer de Medeiros got a free kick in the 90th minute. BRC WeeD Dogs were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
