Spectators: 6864 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 50) Oiticica FC's Wilian Moraes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliézer de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute, Dráuzio Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Oiticica FC's Ricardinho Tavares got a free kick in the 10th minute. Sílvio Luiz Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marquinhos Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Eugênio do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oiticica FC and the Alpha F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Oiticica FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio do Valle. 18 minutes into the match, Alpha F. C.'s Yusuf Tokuş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marquinhos Sena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardinho Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valério de Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Yusuf Tokuş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Marquinhos Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Dráuzio Pinheiro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros. Valério de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valério de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráuzio Pinheiro's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Alpha F. C.'s Valério de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Moraes in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Carlos Alberto Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Oiticica FC's goalkeeper Marquinhos Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yusuf Tokuş. Valério de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the Alpha F. C. defense, Dráuzio Pinheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valério de Medeiros. The Alpha F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valério de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Yusuf Tokuş made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match, Dráuzio Pinheiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valério de Medeiros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wilian Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Valério de Medeiros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 64 minutes, Dráuzio Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oiticica FC and the Alpha F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Dráuzio Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valério de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vágner Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marquinhos Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oiticica FC's Wilian Moraes in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alpha F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Diamantino de Sena scored 1-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marquinhos Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alpha F. C. made a substitution. Pedro Augusto Prata replaced Walmir Koehler. Dráuzio Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Valério de Medeiros made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Oscar Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliézer de Medeiros's late challenge caught a Oiticica FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliézer de Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. Cacá Bastos shot the penalty kick right outside the post.
