Juninho Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Peres in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match Eunapolitano FC got a corner. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Almir Pereira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Celsinho de Moraes hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Gabriel Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Vinhas during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Artur Vinhas hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Marcelinho Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Gabriel Queirós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelinho Leite. Gabriel Queirós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Pereira came free, but Juninho Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Silas Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eunapolitano FC's Almir Pereira in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Vidal in the 31st minute of play forced Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's goalkeeper Juninho Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celsinho de Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celsinho de Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celsinho de Moraes hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd match minute, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Marcelinho Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Marcelinho Leite came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Celsinho de Moraes. But to his dismay, Celsinho de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 41 played minutes Eunapolitano FC got a freekick which was hit by Caco Pernambucano. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
5-0 became the score in the 50th minute when Didi Lima elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gabriel Queirós hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Artur Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Eunapolitano FC's Marcelinho Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho de Moraes in the 55th minute of play. Marcelinho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Queirós in the 57th minute of play. Marcelinho Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celsinho de Moraes went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the game, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Didi Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelinho Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 65 minutes into the match, Eunapolitano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Queirós came free, but Marcelinho Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Almir Pereira in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juninho Prata saved Vasco Ji-Paraná FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Celsinho de Moraes got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Eunapolitano FC's Almir Pereira in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gabriel Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marcelinho Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Vidal came free, but Juninho Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Didi Lima sped through Eunapolitano FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelinho Leite. 90 minutes into the match, Didi Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelinho Leite. Eunapolitano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Didi Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Marcelinho Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Amaral in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Ernani Amaral suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Claudinho Vaz's late challenge caught a Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. Claudinho Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
