Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Meireles started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Magula Fc's Sidney Prado got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Celsinho Goiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino Vides in the 4th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Leopoldo Meireles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chapecoense's Jeferson Xavier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celso Félix's late challenge caught a Chapecoense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Félix helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Magula Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Félix to maneuver through the defense. Andrézinho Gerber got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Betão Viana. Celsinho Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Magula Fc's goalkeeper Celsinho Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomé de Toledo. After 33 played minutes Magula Fc got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Lucas. Magula Fc's Celsinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Vides in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Vides in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Vides in the 40th minute of play forced Magula Fc's goalkeeper Celsinho Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Chapecoense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Vides to maneuver through the defense. Celsinho Goiano came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Chapecoense's Diamantino Vides. But to his dismay, Diamantino Vides quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Jeferson Xavier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Meireles in the 54th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Chapecoense's goalkeeper Jeferson Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Meireles. In the 70th minute, Dudu Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elói Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Goiano having to interfere. Tomé de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Celsinho Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapecoense. After having played for 76 minutes, Tomé de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapecoense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé de Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celsinho Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Leopoldo Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Jeferson Xavier made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Elói Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chapecoense's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Campidelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Magula Fc fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Magula Fc's Leopoldo Meireles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeferson Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Meireles in the 94th minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, Chapecoense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Galvão to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Chapecoense were the better team. Chapecoense's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
