In the 19th minute, Adelino Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kaká Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Poty City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Cruz couldn't finish the play. After 32 minutes, Bebeto do Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magula Fc and the Poty City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bebeto do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Kaká Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poty City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Leopoldo Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celsinho Goiano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kaká Cruz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. The supporters of Magula Fc booed when Poty City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leopoldo Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poty City FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Magula Fc's much stronger midfield.
