Celsinho Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Dankowski in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Espinhal's Gwidon Dankowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celsinho Goiano. Celsinho Goiano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belmiro Pontes got free with Celsinho Goiano in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Magula Fc! Celsinho Goiano came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Espinhal's Murillo Godoi. But to his dismay, Murillo Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 24th match minute, Magula Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Teles to maneuver through the defense. César Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Meireles in the 27th minute of the match. If Belmiro Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Espinhal booed when Magula Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th match minute, Magula Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Viana to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Espinhal booed when Magula Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espinhal's Belmiro Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magula Fc's Celsinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Dankowski in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, one of Magula Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Magula Fc. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Espinhal. Murillo Godoi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Celsinho Goiano. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leopoldo Meireles made the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Simões having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Pontes in the 59th minute of play forced Magula Fc's goalkeeper Celsinho Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Belmiro Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Magula Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Pontes came free, but Celsinho Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Magula Fc's Gernando Teles got a free kick in the 65th minute. Belmiro Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Goiano having to interfere. Celsinho Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 minutes of play, Espinhal's Belmiro Pontes made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celsinho Goiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celsinho Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldinho Azevedo went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Ronaldinho Azevedo scored 7-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celsinho Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
