After a rather tough play, Poty City FC's Toninho Barreto got a free kick in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bagre's zone, Adelino Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dito Camargo came out of the goal and Adelino Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Alessandro Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dito Camargo was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Kaká Cruz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kaká Cruz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Alessandro Paraibano hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Poty City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Neves to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Poty City FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Nelson Santana hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes, Bagre's Eurico Loureiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edinho Castro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bagre reached it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dito Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Adelino Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poty City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dito Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Luís Paulo Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dito Camargo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino Neves went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Poty City FC's Fiori Guedes took a good shot, in the 68th minute, which hit the crossbar above Dito Camargo's head, and flew over the goal. Bagre's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Poty City FC. Adelino Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateus Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Poty City FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when João Adolfo Sena scored to the left of an out of position Edinho Castro, making the score, 3-1. In the 87th minute, Mateus Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bagre's Dito Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Neves in the 92nd minute of play. Alessandro Paraibano got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alessandro Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bagre players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Poty City FC.
