If Kaká Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaká Cruz took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piboon Kotruchin. Piboon Kotruchin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Kaká Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Poty City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Cruz couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, Adelino Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Piboon Kotruchin. Sexta Rua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adelino Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Piboon Kotruchin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Neves in the 14th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ramiz Bedi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adelino Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Bruninho Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sexta Rua FC and the Poty City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Poty City FC booed when Sexta Rua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basílio Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piboon Kotruchin having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adelino Neves to make the kick off. Telmo Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Poty City FC's Basílio Azevedo got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Telmo Donatello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edinho Castro skillfully saved the ball. Musa Yabgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Piboon Kotruchin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Adelino Neves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Piboon Kotruchin, 0-3. Musa Yabgu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaká Cruz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Piboon Kotruchin. That made the score 0-4 in the 84 minute of play. A collision led to Sexta Rua FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Bruninho Gomes hit a great ball. Adelino Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piboon Kotruchin having to interfere. If Ahmet Emir Erkılıç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of Poty City FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sexta Rua FC had held the ball for most of the match.
