The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bengt-Åke Lundqvist took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeferson Xavier. The coaching staff of Chapecoense protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jorginho Penha had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Chico Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Perebas FC's Bengt-Åke Lundqvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tony Capixaba, made in the 91st minute of the game. A hard shot by Ivo Carvalho from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Jeferson Xavier's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Perebas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
