Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gwidon Dankowski made the kick off which started today's match. Espinhal's Wellington Araújo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dino do Vale, made in the 3rd minute of the game. After 7 minutes, Gildo Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poty City FC and the Espinhal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Poty City FC's Edinho Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Poty City FC from getting a goal against them. If Belmiro Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Espinhal's Murillo Godoi got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Espinhal's zone, Charles Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Simões came out of the goal and Charles Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Espinhal's Ronaldinho Azevedo got a free kick in the 35th minute. Edinho Castro came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Espinhal's Belmiro Pontes. But to his dismay, Belmiro Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Edinho Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Dankowski in the 42nd minute of play. A hard shot 43 in the game by Belmiro Pontes from a close distance when the talented Edinho Castro managed to make a qualified save. Poty City FC's players were relieved. After 47 played minutes Poty City FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Falcão. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Benjamin Linhares made the kick off in the second half. Gwidon Dankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Castro having to interfere. Edinho Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Azevedo in the 55th minute of play. Espinhal's Agostinho Peres managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chiquinho Prata in the 56 minute of the game. Benjamin Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Simões having to interfere. Poty City FC's Edinho Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Azevedo in the 68th minute of play. Edinho Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Azevedo in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Dankowski in the 71st minute of play forced Poty City FC's goalkeeper Edinho Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Poty City FC got a freekick which was hit by Renato Bastos. César Simões was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benjamin Linhares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 74 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, César Simões successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 86 minutes into the match, Gwidon Dankowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edinho Castro. Poty City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gwidon Dankowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Linhares got free with César Simões in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Espinhal getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Agostinho Peres hit a great ball. Espinhal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
