Sérgio Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Belmiro Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson Lucas hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Belmiro Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kléberson Lucas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Magula Fc's zone, Gwidon Dankowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Costa came out of the goal and Gwidon Dankowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Pontes in the 9th minute of play forced Magula Fc's goalkeeper Richard Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Belmiro Pontes made a precise shot to the right of Richard Costa. Magula Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Richard Costa came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Espinhal's Gwidon Dankowski. But to his dismay, Gwidon Dankowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Richard Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Dankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Espinhal's Murilo Marques got a free kick in the 21st minute. Gwidon Dankowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Richard Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Belmiro Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magula Fc's Richard Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Ronaldinho Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Richard Costa. Magula Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Richard Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belmiro Pontes in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 41 minutes, Agostinho Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinhal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agostinho Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gwidon Dankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Costa having to interfere. Richard Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belmiro Pontes's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Leopoldo Meireles made the kick off in the second half. Richard Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Dankowski in the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Gwidon Dankowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinhal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwidon Dankowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Celso Félix put in a rough tackle. 57 minutes into the game, one of Magula Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Espinhal's zone, Leopoldo Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Simões came out of the goal and Leopoldo Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belmiro Pontes took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Costa. Richard Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Agostinho Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ronaldinho Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Magula Fc defense, Ronaldinho Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Costa. The Magula Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Costa should have stopped the shot. Richard Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Costa made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Belmiro Pontes sent off a good shot on target. Belmiro Pontess short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Richard Costa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Agostinho Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Espinhal's Belmiro Pontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Espinhal's Belmiro Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Magula Fc's Kléberson Lucas got a free kick in the 95th minute. Gwidon Dankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Costa having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Espinhal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Magula Fc.
