Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Betão Mello got the match started through his kick off. Iraty Sport Club's Natã Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Senna in the 3rd minute of play. In the 3rd match minute, Iraty Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Recife to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Betinho Tavares could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Natã Vides however easily saved by the left post. If Betinho Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mate's Cristóvão Pontes got a free kick in the 12th minute. Eliézer Queirós's late challenge caught a Iraty Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliézer Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. Eliézer Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Mate's Cristóvão Pontes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Natã Vides but with some difficulty. 范谦伟 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Teodoro Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Betão Mello scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 范谦伟, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Natã Vides came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Mate's Betinho Tavares. But to his dismay, Betinho Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Natã Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betinho Tavares in the 38th minute. Iraty Sport Club's Natã Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Iraty Sport Club from getting a goal against them. Magno Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Teodoro Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Natã Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iraty Sport Club's Natã Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Senna in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mate's Eliézer Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natã Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eliézer Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Mate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer Queirós couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Teodoro Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Moreira in the 64th minute of play forced Iraty Sport Club's goalkeeper Natã Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauro Moreira took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natã Vides. Natã Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Cristóvão Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mate's protests and gave Cristóvão Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. 72 minutes into the match, Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Paraibano came free, but 范谦伟 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Geovanni Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iraty Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanni Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 范谦伟 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lauro Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Délio Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Mate got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Queirós. Geovanni Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 范谦伟 having to interfere. Betão Mello spun around in front of the goal 88 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mate's goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Betinho Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betinho Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Iraty Sport Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mate.
