After 25 played minutes Zahariz FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Veiga. Joaquim Moreno made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and LeBron Jordán immediately put the ball in play. In the 29th match minute, Zahariz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Penha to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Zahariz FC's goalkeeper Rui Liberato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Eger. 36 minutes into the match, Somanuma's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Gerber came free, but Zachariasz Gardocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zinedine Platini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Liberato having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Gerber was the one to do the kick off. Zinedine Platini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Rui Liberato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anísio Sena during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zahariz FC's Anísio Sena got a free kick in the 58th minute. A collision led to Somanuma getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Evaristo Senna hit a great ball. If Zinedine Platini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Liberato came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Somanuma's Rômulo Salgado. But to his dismay, Rômulo Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivaldo Porto during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zahariz FC's Rui Liberato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Messi in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Leopoldo Gerber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachariasz Gardocki was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Zachariasz Gardocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Somanuma's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Penha came free, but Zachariasz Gardocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Zahariz FC's Leopoldo Gerber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zachariasz Gardocki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
