The referee ignored Gears of War MZT's protests and gave Olívio Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gears of War MZT's Olívio Trigo got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 67th minute Geovânio Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pedrinho Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gears of War MZT's protests and gave Pedrinho Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Gears of War MZT got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Guimarães. After 75 played minutes, Anêmicos Futebol Clube's Tales Dante shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elano Motta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anêmicos Futebol Clube reached it. In the 80th minute Vinícius Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gears of War MZT's Pedrinho Guimarães got a free kick in the 80th minute. Elano Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Branco in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Gears of War MZT booed when Anêmicos Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hudson Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
