Leopoldo Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Vides having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Zahariz FC's Frederico Penha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Natã Vides. Natã Vides was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the match, Iraty Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Penha came free, but Natã Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Betão Mello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zahariz FC fully deserved thier win.
