Zinedine Platini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Zinedine Platini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gonçalo Alagoano. Zinedine Platini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Anêmicos Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Zinedine Platini came free, but Gonçalo Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Eger to make the kick off. Zinedine Platini took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonçalo Alagoano. Gonçalo Alagoano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 65th minute, Rômulo Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anêmicos Futebol Clube's Tales Dante shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zachariasz Gardocki but with some difficulty. 70 minutes into the match, Zinedine Platini notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Anêmicos Futebol Clube's Gonçalo Alagoano. Gonçalo Alagoano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonel Messi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. The Somanuma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Anêmicos Futebol Clube's zone, Axel Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Alagoano came out of the goal and Axel Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Zinedine Platini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Somanuma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zinedine Platini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Somanuma were the better team. Somanuma's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
