After having played for 58 minutes, Luiz Guilherme Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Guilherme Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Murilo Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65thth minute of the game Thomás Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caboto SS's Aritza Vicuña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Independente FC's Nilmar Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Independente FC from getting a goal against them. Túlio Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Independente FC's Nilmar Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Guedes in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Independente FC booed when Caboto SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball.
