Iraty Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Somanuma the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Iraty Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Axel Egers short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Natã Vides to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute, Somanuma's Leonel Messi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Messi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Iraty Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Messi came free, but Natã Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Eger in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natã Vides prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Leonel Messi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Messi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vivaldo Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rômulo Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Christian Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Gardocki having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Leonel Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Somanuma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Somanuma fully deserved thier win.
