In the 21st minute, Eliézer Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mate's Lauro Moreira got a free kick in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mate's zone, Geovânio Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 范谦伟 came out of the goal and Geovânio Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dadá Linares struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Gonçalo Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mate. A collision led to Mate getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lauro Moreira hit a great ball. Dadá Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Alagoano having to interfere. Geovânio Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 范谦伟 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Teodoro Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Anêmicos Futebol Clube's Humberto Amorim got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Anêmicos Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mate:s goal. 范谦伟 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Eliseu Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 范谦伟. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseu Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st match minute, Anêmicos Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Dante to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo Alagoano was a little too slow when Dadá Linares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-2. Gonçalo Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Linares in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Dadá Linares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gonçalo Alagoano. Dadá Linares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Anêmicos Futebol Clube's Vinícius Guedes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes, Dadá Linares made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Anêmicos Futebol Clube's Gonçalo Alagoano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseu Branco took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 范谦伟. 范谦伟 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The Anêmicos Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mate's performance. The match ended with a win for Mate.
