In the 22nd minute Betão Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Sampaio in the 25th minute of play forced Cães Vadios's goalkeeper João Vítor Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Betão Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Vítor Freire was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juvenal Romero during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juvenal Romero hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Betão Mello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Freire. Cães Vadios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betão Mello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Betão Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but João Vítor Freire made a huge save. Natã Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iraty Sport Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
