But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Domingues couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Rogério Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcinho Quintal. The goal made the score 1-0. After 12 minutes of play, Barra Funda F.C's Edmílson Mineiro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcinho Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 14 played minutes Dread Terror got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Silva. Edmílson Mineiro, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 16th minute, Wilfredo Cordario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rogério Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Inácio Domingues rounded Dread Terror's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 22nd minute, Inácio Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcinho Quintal was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 27 minutes into the game, Edmílson Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Marcinho Quintal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vágner da Rocha in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho Quintal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inácio Domingues succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. In the 37th minute, Dread Terror's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Inácio Domingues fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 39 minutes of play, Barra Funda F.C's Inácio Domingues made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcinho Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmílson Mineiro was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Domingues in the 51st minute of play forced Dread Terror's goalkeeper Marcinho Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dread Terror's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogério Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fabiano Marques during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcinho Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Cunha in the 87th minute of the match.
