Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) 3 minutes into the match, Acarahu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Vinhas came free, but Dênis Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélio Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard, long distance shot from Cristian Trevisan flew over the goal. When Hélio Damião came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Acarahu EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélio Damião couldn't finish the play. Dito Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dito Ferraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Acarahu EC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dito Ferraz hit a great ball. Marcinho Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Damião in the 15th minute of play. Augusto Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Germano Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germano Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Prestes having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Wilfredo Cordario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Acarahu EC's zone, Germano Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dênis Prestes came out of the goal and Germano Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Dread Terror got a corner. Acarahu EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Lira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcinho Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Silveira in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélio Damião was the one to do the kick off. Hélio Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Quintal having to interfere. Gilmar de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Marcinho Quintal made a huge save. Hélio Damião scored 0-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcinho Quintal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilmar de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marcinho Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dênis Prestes came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dread Terror's Germano Vinhas. But to his dismay, Germano Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 75 minutes into the game, Dread Terror's Germano Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dênis Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Hélio Damião's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcinho Quintal firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Acarahu EC booed when Dread Terror was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Andrézinho Peixoto fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dread Terror's protests and gave Andrézinho Peixoto a yellow card for diving instead. Andrézinho Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Hélio Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Quintal having to interfere. Germano Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dênis Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Cordario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dênis Prestes was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Hélio Damião struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Marcinho Quintal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acarahu EC. Dênis Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Vinhas in the 95th minute of play. Dread Terror were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
