Fernando Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcinho do Nascimento's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernando Quintal firmly grabbed it by the left post. João Augusto de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Martins having to interfere. In the 16th minute Túlio da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Túlio da Silveira 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio da Silveira in the 22nd minute of play forced XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Fernando Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Matías Rosa. In the 45th minute, João Augusto de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XV de Piracicaba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Túlio da Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Marcinho do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruninho Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Nando Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Arthur Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonçalo da Rocha got free with Arthur Martins in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Biquinha FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Reginaldo Correia hit a great ball. Bruno Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Nando Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Arthur Martins made a huge save. Reginaldo Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Quintal having to interfere. Biquinha FC's Marcinho do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gonçalo da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Biquinha FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching XV de Piracicaba's performance. The match ended with a win for XV de Piracicaba.
