Denílson Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Acarahu EC's Dito Ferraz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denílson Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Denílson Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Acarahu EC had played much better football throughout.
