In the 8th match minute, Dread Terror was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Germano Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dread Terror's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Germano Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denílson Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Vinhas in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dread Terror's Wilfredo Cordario got a free kick in the 20th minute. Enrique Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Dread Terror's Wilfredo Cordario in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karavela's goalie prevented a goal. 40 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Cordario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Denílson Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guto Rosado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrézinho Peixoto hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. José Walther kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Wilfredo Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Catarinense having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Dread Terror's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Mattos came free, but Marcinho Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Cordario during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dread Terror's Wilfredo Cordario got a free kick in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Karavela's goalkeeper Denílson Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Germano Vinhas. Gilberto Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denílson Catarinense having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Dread Terror's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Mattos came free, but Marcinho Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes, Gilberto Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dread Terror and the Karavela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guto Rosado scored 1-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcinho Quintal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Enrique Mattos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcinho Quintal. Dread Terror's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Mattos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Wilfredo Cordario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dread Terror players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Karavela.
