Capitão Poço F.C's Erivaldo Souto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Capitão Poço F.C from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, Salinada AD's goal looked a bit too open when Téo França came free, but Luiz Paulo Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erivaldo Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fernando da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chicão Eger made a kick off. Salinada AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capitão Poço F.C the free kick. Chicão Eger hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Capitão Poço F.C's Erivaldo Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando da Silveira in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the Capitão Poço F.C defense, Luiz Fernando da Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erivaldo Souto. The Capitão Poço F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erivaldo Souto should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Cauan Leal could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Luiz Paulo Cardozo however easily saved by the left post. Luiz Paulo Cardozo made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Téo França sent off a good shot on target. Erivaldo Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fernando da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Capitão Poço F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fernando da Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, Salinada AD could leave the field as winners, despite Capitão Poço F.C having more of the ball for most of the match.
