Marcinho Quintal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 32 minutes of play, XV de Piracicaba's Bebeto Pena made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcinho Quintal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36thth minute of the game Laércio Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dread Terror's Marcinho Quintal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Laércio Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Quintal having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Dread Terror got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Cordario. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After having played for 51 minutes, Nando Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XV de Piracicaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nando Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Vinhas in the 61st minute of play forced XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Fernando Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Germano Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dread Terror's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's Nando Gerber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcinho Quintal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Dread Terror's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Cardozo came free, but Marcinho Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Laércio Cardozo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcinho Quintal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. A collision led to Dread Terror getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Wilfredo Cordario hit a great ball.
