Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Júnior Campidelis started the match with the kick off. When João Augusto de Souza fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XV de Piracicaba's protests and gave João Augusto de Souza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to XV de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. João Augusto de Souza hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes KRAKATOA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho de Souza. Nando Gerber took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Maria Paiva. KRAKATOA F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Laércio Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. José Maria Paiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nando Gerber got free with José Maria Paiva in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Maria Paiva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nando Gerber showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Júnior Campidelis notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of XV de Piracicaba's Fernando Quintal. Fernando Quintal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th match minute, KRAKATOA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Laércio Cardozo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, José Maria Paiva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. José Maria Paiva made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Laércio Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. XV de Piracicaba's Ramiro Goiano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 35th minute of play. The shot was stopped by José Maria Paiva but with some difficulty. In the 36th minute, Laércio Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bebeto Pena struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. José Maria Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XV de Piracicaba. In the 41st minute João Augusto de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, José Maria Paiva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. José Maria Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Laércio Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nando Gerber made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Laércio Cardozo made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. KRAKATOA F.C.'s José Maria Paiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55thth minute of the game Laércio Cardozo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KRAKATOA F.C.'s José Maria Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bebeto Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Campidelis came free, but Fernando Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, KRAKATOA F.C.'s Fernando Quintal threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Júnior Campidelis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Caco de Mendonça came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fernando Quintal could save by the left post. KRAKATOA F.C.'s José Maria Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Gerber in the 69th minute of play. José Maria Paiva came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by XV de Piracicaba's Nando Gerber. But to his dismay, Nando Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Fabrício Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrício Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes KRAKATOA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Aguiar. After a defensive mix-up in KRAKATOA F.C.'s zone, João Augusto de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria Paiva came out of the goal and João Augusto de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If João Augusto de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelson Almeida during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nelson Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Gonçalo da Rocha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Maria Paiva skillfully saved the ball. Isaltino Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Anderson Netto's late challenge caught a KRAKATOA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anderson Netto helped the player get up and apologised. José Maria Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto de Souza in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that XV de Piracicaba were the better team. XV de Piracicaba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
