Chicão Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Dênis Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Paulo José de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of WinchesterBr booed when Gato Preto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Henrique didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Alcântara in the 31st minute of play forced WinchesterBr's goalkeeper João Francisco Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Henrique in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Francisco Travassos saved WinchesterBr from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Dênis Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Francisco Travassos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. João Francisco Travassos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Henrique went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The wind increased when Bruno Henrique made the kick off in the second half. Gato Preto FC's Cauan Abraão suffered a sore foot after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a defensive mix-up in WinchesterBr's zone, Bruno Henrique stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Francisco Travassos came out of the goal and Bruno Henrique tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, João Augusto Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dênis Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Travassos having to interfere. If Bruno Henrique had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcisio Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When João Augusto Romero came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the WinchesterBr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Augusto Romero couldn't finish the play. João Francisco Travassos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. João Augusto Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Augusto Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Francisco Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Henrique in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Dênis Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bruno Henrique came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Gato Preto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Henrique couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Bruno Henrique managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gato Preto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Henrique was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Francisco Travassos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Gato Preto FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
