In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Tande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edvaldo Tande was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Claudio Caniggia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudio Caniggia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Rafinha Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Tande having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Rafinha Tróia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rafinha Tróia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Esporte Clube Zeus's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aleksandr Mirkovich made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rafa Moura. In the 21st minute Rafa Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Tande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luan Campidelis in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Tande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luan Campidelis. 27 minutes into the game, Rafinha Tróia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Edvaldo Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luan Campidelis in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvaldo Tande saved Socanelas FC from getting behind. Edvaldo Tande was a little too slow when Luan Campidelis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 5-0. Claudio Caniggia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvaldo Tande having to make a save. A collision led to Socanelas FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Mor Šego hit a great ball. Edvaldo Tande made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Claudio Caniggia sent off a good shot on target. Esporte Clube Zeus's Eusébio de Alcântara quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 蔡银镇, made in the 43rd minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Campidelis came free, but Edvaldo Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Socanelas FC's Edvaldo Tande got control of the ball when Luan Campidelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tanek Dziechciowski was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Campidelis came free, but Edvaldo Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Socanelas FC defense, Luan Campidelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvaldo Tande. The Socanelas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvaldo Tande should have stopped the shot. Luan Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Tande having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Luan Campidelis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvaldo Tande. Socanelas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luan Campidelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. If Rafinha Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Luan Campidelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luan Campidelis went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Esporte Clube Zeus's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
