José Paulo Melo's late challenge caught a Vento Aragano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Melo helped the player get up and apologised. 24 minutes into the game, one of Gostoso AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Vento Aragano's Tomás Perez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Franklin Linhares. Ezequiel Lopez charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Lopez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gostoso AD getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ezequiel Lopez hit a great ball. Manfredo Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Franklin Linhares made a huge save. When Manfredo Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vento Aragano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manfredo Travassos couldn't finish the play. Jano de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Melo in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Melo in the 37th minute of play forced Vento Aragano's goalkeeper Jano de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vento Aragano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Gostoso AD. Ezequiel Lopez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jano de Azevedo. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pereira made a kick off. José Paulo Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Gostoso AD's João Augusto Paes. But to his dismay, João Augusto Paes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After having played for 59 minutes, Manfredo Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vento Aragano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 played minutes Vento Aragano got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Perez. In the 62nd match minute, Vento Aragano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Mumbach to maneuver through the defense. Jano de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when João Augusto Paes sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Gostoso AD's Jaime Pereira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jano de Azevedo. Jano de Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Hílton Mumbach hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Franklin Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jano de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Melo in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Erivaldo Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Jaime Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Vento Aragano's goalkeeper Jano de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Augusto Paes. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Jano de Azevedo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Manfredo Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Carvalho in the 89th minute. When Elivélton Romero fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gostoso AD's protests and gave Elivélton Romero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Elivélton Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franklin Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Travassos in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Jaime Pereira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jano de Azevedo, 1-5. The Vento Aragano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gostoso AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
