Dadá Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Eger having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Washington Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Lucas in the 48th minute of play.

Washington Pena hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Paulista in the 57th minute of play forced Fazenda Rio Grande FC's goalkeeper José Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá Moreno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Wiliam Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Iuri Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Fábio Barbosa made a huge save. Dadá Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Iuri Antunes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MZ 13 de Julho's Fábio Barbosa didn't even have to move. 95 minutes into the match, MZ 13 de Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Antunes came free, but Fábio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Fazenda Rio Grande FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MZ 13 de Julho.
