Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Inácio Vides started the match with the kick off. José Vítor Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Leite in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, César Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BULL FC's José Vítor Cardoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save BULL FC from getting a goal against them. Márcio Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Vivaldo Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Márcio Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

José Vítor Cardoso came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by 17 de Novembro's Márcio Leite. But to his dismay, Márcio Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Aírton Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Vides in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Leite in the 63rd minute of play forced BULL FC's goalkeeper José Vítor Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of 17 de Novembro booed when BULL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Carlos Eduardo Sarmento sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Vítor Cardoso skillfully saved the ball. BULL FC's José Vítor Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Pires in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, BULL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Leite came free, but José Vítor Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes, Ronaldinho das Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BULL FC and the 17 de Novembro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Márcio Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Vítor Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 87th minute, César Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vítor Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Márcio Leite's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Márcio Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. 17 de Novembro's supporters rose to their feet, but Márcio Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Vítor Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 17 de Novembro had played much better football throughout.
