Duarte Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, Víktor Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piavore FC's Osmar de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Piavore FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Alan Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piavore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonsinho Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonsinho Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a rather tough play, Piavore FC's Christiano Sergipano got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Piavore FC's Osmar de Senna got control of the ball when Silvério Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvério Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Osmar de Senna made a huge save. Hamílton Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Afonsinho Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Piavore FC's Alan Mandrak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonsinho Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Crichas's Afonsinho Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Mandrak in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Piavore FC's Christiano Sergipano got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Silvério Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Crichas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Piavore FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamílton Saldanha to make the kick off. If Alan Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Piavore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Dante came free, but Osmar de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Hamílton Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Afonsinho Cunha came out of the goal and Hamílton Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Osmar de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvério Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Crichas's Conrado Guimarães got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Víktor Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Osmar de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, Crichas's Silvério Peres made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osmar de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Crichas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Piavore FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Piavore FC.
