It was a penalty for Praetorian™ FC! The goalkeeper, Didi Vianna, was totally fooled by Baiaco Futebol Arte's Ronaldinho Capixaba, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Giovanni Teles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Didi Vianna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fabiano de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Alves to make the kick off. Adalberto Leme charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 85th match minute, Baiaco Futebol Arte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Praetorian™ FC's Haroldo Alves fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Praetorian™ FC's Nilmar Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Arósio in the 91st minute of play forced Praetorian™ FC's goalkeeper Didi Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Adriano Perez fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Praetorian™ FC's protests and gave Adriano Perez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Praetorian™ FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Adriano Perez hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Praetorian™ FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
