Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4050, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thomás Santos kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, one of RJMARTINS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience was convinced that Isaltino Dionísio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelsinho Marquez was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 10th match minute, RJMARTINS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Dantas to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes, Victor Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RJMARTINS and the Verde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Victor Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Zé Carlos Fernandez in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Wellington Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. RJMARTINS's supporters rose to their feet, but Wellington Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the game, Wellington Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RJMARTINS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verde the free kick. The RJMARTINS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Verde were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Carlos Fernandez to make the kick off. Nelsinho Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos Fernandez in the 57th minute of play. Nelsinho Marquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Carlos Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Verde's Isaltino Dionísio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nelsinho Marquez. Nelsinho Marquez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in RJMARTINS's zone, Isaltino Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Marquez came out of the goal and Isaltino Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Alexandre Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, RJMARTINS's Wellington Marquez got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Francisco Vergílio's late challenge caught a RJMARTINS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Vergílio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of RJMARTINS booed when Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomás Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, RJMARTINS's Wellington Marquez got a free kick in the 95th minute. Verde's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
