Noel de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte de Carvalho having to interfere. A collision led to noname getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mauro Regueira hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, noname's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Lira came free, but Laerte de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA's zone, Gervasio Divaichin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Netto came out of the goal and Gervasio Divaichin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Noel de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel de Souza couldn't finish the play. Fiori Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 70th minute of the match, Noel de Souza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Laerte de Carvalho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Laerte de Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noel de Souza went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Noel de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Laerte de Carvalho made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Noel de Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Laerte de Carvalho. That made the score 0-3 in the 79 minute of play. Conrado Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Simão Santana in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by noname's Luís Fernando Dracena. noname's Luís Fernando Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA's Conrado Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA's Fiori Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Regueira in the 92nd minute of play. Fiori Netto came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by noname's Luís Fernando Dracena. But to his dismay, Luís Fernando Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA's Conrado Lira got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of GRÊMIO FOOT-BALL POA were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant noname side.
