Hílton Lopes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Didi do Vale 22 minutes into the match. Final FT's Didi do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Severo in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Quintal was the one to do the kick off. Xu Ao in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramón Favoretto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 56 minutes of play, A. A. INTERNACIONAL's Cássio Severo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Didi do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cássio Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi do Vale having to interfere. In the 61st minute Frederico Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dráuzio Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Final FT's protests and gave Dráuzio Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute Cássio Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Final FT's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Severo came free, but Didi do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frederico Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Didi do Vale came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by A. A. INTERNACIONAL's Hílton Lopes. But to his dismay, Hílton Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Xu Ao who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Ramón Favoretto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Didi do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cássio Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that A. A. INTERNACIONAL were the better team. A. A. INTERNACIONAL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
