Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anselmo Sabóia started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Cássio Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bahamas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elivélton Moura got free with Domingo Benito in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Bahamas FC's Felipe Lima got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Alves in the 13th minute of play forced SE Digolas's goalkeeper Fernando Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Anselmo Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bahamas FC's Domingo Benito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Mota in the 16th minute of play. Cássio Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edson Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edson Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bahamas FC booed when SE Digolas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. SE Digolas's Fernando Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Sabóia in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes SE Digolas got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Senna. After a defensive mix-up in SE Digolas's zone, Cássio Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Alvarenga came out of the goal and Cássio Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cássio Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahamas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cornelio Inko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christiano de Souza's late challenge caught a Bahamas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christiano de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, SE Digolas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano de Souza to maneuver through the defense. If Cássio Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Sabóia in the 43rd minute of play. Domingo Benito was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Mané Mota capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mané Mota really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané Mota to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Cássio Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Rui Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahamas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SE Digolas the free kick. Rui Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Cássio Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahamas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christiano de Souza was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bahamas FC's Cássio Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivélton Moura in the 72nd minute of play forced Bahamas FC's goalkeeper Domingo Benito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in SE Digolas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! SE Digolas's Fernando Alvarenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save SE Digolas from getting a goal against them. Cássio Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Sabóia in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernando Alvarenga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cássio Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Fernando Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Benito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Sá in the 92nd minute of play. Elivélton Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Benito having to interfere. Domingo Benito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton Moura in the 95th minute of the match. Anselmo Sabóia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Fernando Alvarenga made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bahamas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
